Just start - It can be difficult to get out of the procrastination cycle, but I like to tell myself "Okay, I will just work on the task for 10 minutes and then decide if I want to continue." I always want to continue 😉 it's a little trick for your mind. 2. Positive Thinking - Get into the habit of thinking positive. If something is difficult, try to think of the bright-side. I know, easier said than done! Positive thinking is very important for both your mind and your health. 3. Be kind to yourself - You can't get away from yourself, so learn who you are and grow to enjoy your own company and find value in who you truly are. 4. Feel a sense of gratitude - Even if you take two minutes to look up at the sky, enjoy the different colors of the flowers, or seeing a friend. Finding gratitude in the small things is what makes life enjoyable. Meditation is a great way to finding a moment of gratitude every day. 5. Reduce your to-do list - life can get hectic. Prioritize what needs to be done and what can wait. 6. Make your goals exciting - I love to making goal boards to help me visualize my goals and it keeps me excited to achieve them!

Burn out comes from over working your brain and not taking enough time for yourself. Stress causes increase in cortisol and negatively affects your memory. ✨How can you treat it? ✨ - Exercise: This is what really helps strengthen neuron synapses and enhances your working memory. I personally love to swim, play tennis, or go for a run. It doesn’t have to be a marathon run. Just 45minutes of brisk walking can be exactly what you need. I like to call these walks my hot girl walks. I used to skip the gym because I was trying to get my deadlines completed, but what I’ve realized is, it’s more important to go to the gym first thing and then I’m able to better complete my tasks. - Meditation: 10 minutes of meditation can slow your mind down and help you focus on the present moment, which in turn helps you focus on your work. Meditation can be so hard to do! The hardest part is just getting yourself to sit down! I like putting on an app called ‘CALM’ and I have it play soft music until it’s 10min meditation timer tells me my meditation has completed. - Eat right: Eating healthy will also help reduce stress and it also strengthens your immune system. When you’re stressed your immune system drops. So eat those veggies babe! 😉 - Sleep: I LOVE to sleep. I know it can be tempting to stay up late to complete your work, or chat with your virtual g/f (i.e me ☺️), but sleep is one of the most important aspects to preventing and curing burn out. Sleep helps your brain clear itself out by removing all of the unnecessary information you acquired throughout the day. It’s kind of like a clean out session for your brain. Maybe that’s why I like sleep so much, because it’s like a shower for my brain.. Now that we are all hot and heavy, message me & tell me what's your favorite way to relax?💞

Being consistent means dedicating yourself to your goals and staying focused on the things and activities to achieve your goals. So what can you do to stay on task without getting burnt out & quitting? Most of us struggle with staying consistent in some part of our lives. Consistency requires a long-term commitment from you and involves sustained effort in doing actions repeatedly until you achieve your goals. I have 3 secrets to help you keep your eye on the prize! 1. Determine your #1 Goal and do everything you can to achieve it. 2. Focus on your daily tasks but look at your progress over a month or quarter. 3. Fight your emotions! The brain can be a taxing organ. Sometimes we feel lazy, especially when faced with a challenge. Push through it and fight the emotions. It’s a biological trick. Consistency leads to self-discipline, teaches you self-control, improves your overall personality, and builds momentum
