First day of recovery, feeling better, feeling stronger! 💪 I got to hop off the crutches for a bit doing some of my post-op exercises, and event getting to walk around a bit with little to no discomfort. Doggo is very happy about that. 😊👏 Doing some reflecting, It’s crazy to realize I danced, gone to many music festivals/events, and even done many leg workouts on a completely torn meniscus for almost a full year. 👀 I figured it would heal but itself if I babied it. But there is no baby-ing something that is completely detached 😅🙈

Frisky on a rest day 😏🏥 Earlier this year, I twisted and slammed my knee pretty good dancing which led to prolonged puppy boo-boo . It didn’t get any better since then. So I was a good boy and did the smart thing going to the vet to run some tests with the doc. After my MRI, it turned out I torn my meniscus. Today I went to the vet and got surgery on it to get it fixed. 🏥🩺💪 Now it’s just chilling with the bone out… Anyone want to help suck me to recovery? ⛑🙋♂️

After this experience, I don’t have much to be nervous about anymore. At least when it comes to being naked. 🙈 Fun Fact: I used to be very self-conscious about my body. It took me to Sophmore year of college to feel confident enough to shower with the rest of the team. 😅 I had a little motivation though… I had a big crush of a teammate I competed along side with.
