Added 2020-01-18 07:56:49 +0000 UTCWhat an incredible honor to be asked to participate in a panel on journalism alongside people such as Lina Misitzis (This American Life), EJ Dickson (Rolling Stone), Jackie Goldberg (Les Inrockuptibles), and of course the panel’s host Gustavo Turner. I’m so grateful for the growing success of my podcast and all of the opportunities it has brought me- like this one. And to everyone who came up afterwards to tell me I was doing something that really mattered for my industry: thank you for your support. I’ve always loved my job as a photographer and director, but as a podcaster it feels really good to be a part of a socially conscious movement to change how people see porn, female sexuality, and sex worker rights. I’m so proud and so grateful to my guests who share their stories with myself and my audience- it’s helped me grow so much as a person.
