It's not hard to watch what you say to people - I've been doing it my entire life... replaying conversations in my head and remembering reactions from people when I said tactless things without thinking... MAYBE THAT'S MY ANXIETY TALKING but I think caring about the impact you have on the people around you is so important. If you ask me - telling other people how to respond to something is just trying to shift responsibility. What is said cannot be unsaid but putting a little thought and consideration into your words can make a huge difference. Why let people replay hurtful interactions with you when you can leave a lasting impact that feels like a warm hug? 💖 Anyway, this is my random reminder that your feelings are valid and you have the power to leave an impression on this world - whether it be good or bad is entirely up to you.
