And in a world driven by disruption, "make sure you're on the right side of change.” People who want to succeed should think like a disrupter, Wood says. "That's going to become more and more true, because so much is changing," she said. To be successful, Wood says, you need conviction in your ideas. Morning Star & Morning Routines ⭐️ How you spend the first few hours in the morning impacts the rest of your day. For myself I have mad a lot of great habits, which I have learned from people who inspire me. One of my mentors taught me that within the first 20 seconds of waking up tell myself something positive ‘today is going to be productive/fulfilling/exciting/profitable, etc.’ Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and many other’s swear by having a good amount of sleep. For everyone the perfect amount of sleep is different, but for Jeff Bezos it’s a full 8hours is key. According to Bezos, "I go to bed early, I get up early". After rising, he is known to enjoy "putter" around the house in the morning. He'll brew some coffee, read the newspapers, and generally not start work. When his kids get up, he prides himself on making them breakfast. Warren Buffet day starts at 6:45 am after getting at least eight hours of sleep each night. When Buffett gets up in the morning, he doesn't reach for the coffee pot. Instead, the billionaire investor opens the fridge to get an ice-cold can of Coca-Cola. Musk wakes up each morning at around 7 am. He says he likes getting around 6 1/2 hours of sleep per night. Sleeping in is not an option for him, saying it affects his performance more than if he sleeps less. After getting up, he showers, dresses, and enjoys a morning cup of coffee. However, he says he is usually in such a rush that he skips breakfast most days. On the days he does eat breakfast, he likes an omelet. In a Reddit AMA he mentioned that showering is the most important part of his day. He says that he doesn’t feel in the right headspace without his shower, and it’s a critical part of waking up and preparing him to face the challenges of the day. What’s your morning routine? That’s why it’s so important to have other people around you who are in the same boat 🛶 as you. We are all in this together, and sometimes it might feel like you’re going to tip over! But fear not- this is normal. ☄️Although we may think achieving the goal and fulfilling the mission is what keeps us going, in all actuality what keeps us going is the struggle while working to obtain our goals. Eventually the mission becomes less important and the people around you and their well-being become more important. 🍓A Means To An End Get Your Dividends🍓 When I was a kid growing up I would always hear my grandfather talk about dividends. For some reason I loved the word, it sounded so grown-up to me 😂 I had no idea what they were until I was much older. If you’re unfamiliar with the term, dividends are consistent payouts a company makes to its shareholders on a per share basis. It’s usually paid on a quarterly basis, after the company reports results. The payout represents a small percentage of the company’s earnings. Companies that pay dividends typically are more established than companies without them. Thats because a younger company is more likely to reinvest its earnings back into its growth rather than pay shareholders. Something I really like is that dividends give you the ability to purchase more shares without taking any additional money from your personal account. The particular benefit of this strategy is that not only are your number of shares increasing… so, too, is your dividend payment. I once made quite some money by investing in stocks before pulling out right before the dotcom crash in 2000… My first real estate deal (flipping a house) turned $1800 into $80k… And a couple of my first commercial real estate deals made me a few millions… And although I was also at the wrong end of luck quite a few times as well. The end result was green. All these swings of luck (and bad luck) allowed me to learn A LOT while also making money. In some cases, real money, like when I made a few million with my first couple of real estate investments. Want to know what allowed me to get ‘lucky’ like that 👆? The fact that I was always in the game! Always pushing and looking for opportunity. When you’re on the field and have the right knowledge, you can always get ‘lucky’. There’s always that ‘lucky’ goal that gets kicked in. But when you’re on the bleachers watching, luck is not going to find you. So my advice is to get into the playfield and level up your knowledge! Push yourself and work hard the same way an athlete does. Luck will come, especially if you’re in the right place and the right opportunities manifest. I truly believe you’re in the right place when it comes to building wealth through real estate. And as I told you yesterday, this whole situation with the office space is presenting amazing opportunities.”

Stand up straight with your shoulders back. 2. Treat yourself like you’re someone responsible for helping. 3. Make friends with the people who want the best for you. - They get to demand the best from you. - They will keep you humble. 4. Compare yourself to who you were yesterday. 5. Don’t let your children do anything that makes you dislike them. - If you dislike them, other people will too. 6. Put your house in perfect order before you criticize the world. - Bind your ambition with humility. - Work on what you could suffer from in the future. 7. Do what’s meaningful and not what’s expedient. 8. Tell the truth, or at least don’t lie. - You corrupt your own perceptions when you lie. 9. Assume the person you’re listening to knows something you don’t. 10. Be precise in your speech. 11. Don’t bother children when they are skateboarding. - Do not shelter your children. The world is a hard place and they might fall, but they deserve the right to take risks. - Let them be independent. 12. Pet a cat when you see one on the street. - When tragedy strikes, which it will, take the time to grieve and process what happened. - It could be the loss of a loved one or the loss of a dream. - Stop and smell the flowers, or stop and pet a cat. Stiff Competition 🥅 Everyone wants to be the best and be on top, but what separates the 🔝 from the rest? I got some great advice the other day from a very successful CEO. He started from nothing and achieved what we would call the American Dream. He said you have to be better than your competition and in order to do that you have to separate yourself from them. In other words, what makes you different and special? Why would a customer come to you over the competition? Seriously ask yourself that.. Is it because you genuinely care? Is it because you have more resources available? Is it because you are more knowledgeable than competitors? Whatever it is you find that makes you different use it! Let The $Dough Rise 🥖 Inflation reflects the broad rise of prices, or the fall in the value of money. Okay, so why does it matter? Let’s pretend there’s a bakery shop. 🧁 Due to inflation the bread prices go up, which causes prices to go up for the staff and customers. The staff complains to the baker that they need a raise, the baker increases their wages, but then prices go up even more because everyone has purchase power. It’s also is an issue with production. For example, there isn’t enough wheat to make the bread, but the wheat demand is increasing, causing prices to increase due to the bakery’s increasing need. What can be done to help decrease inflation? For one the government can raise interest rates. This is important so businesses and individuals will decrease their spending (No more muffins!)😉

Climbing The Ladder 🥵 Being in business is a tough and you've got to have thick skin. I hear 'no' in business a LOT. Either because I am a woman, or they want to save a buck. I face rejection and head on. Staying patient and persistent is the key to getting ahead. Sometimes it feels like I am treading water and nothing is happening. Then out of nowhere the flood gates open and I get a few steps ahead. Very few people get rich or successful in a day. It takes time and perseverance. That's kind of the fun in it 😉 Speaking of fun..
