Are You Up to the Challenge?
People are always going to have something negative to say and some words of apprehension or discouragement. You have to make a change and realize that others will take time to adjust. The ones who don’t never mattered anyway. The most successful people in the world have heard rejection over and over but would not take No for an answer. No matter who said it!
Steve Jobs is one of the best innovators of our time. He had a way of thinking outside the box and the ability to make complex situations simple. Although people might say his personal life wasn’t the best no one can deny he was a genius of our time and changed the way we do things.
“ When you grow up you tend to get told that the world is the way it is and your life is just to live your life inside the world. Try not to bash into the walls too much. Try to have a nice family life, have fun, save a little money. That’s a very limited life. Life can be much broader once you discover one simple fact: Everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you. And you can change it, you can influence it… Once you learn that, you’ll never be the same again.”
― Steve Jobs
🔥Burn Out🔥
I hit a wall the other day.. I think everyone who is working hard and putting pressure on themselves has felt this way. Burn out! 🥵
Burnout reduces productivity and saps your energy, leaving you feeling increasingly helpless, hopeless, cynical, and resentful. Eventually, you may feel like you have nothing more to give.
So what’s a girl, or guy, to do? I had to pause and take some time for myself. I took a bubble bath, watched some trash TV (a rare delight for me nowadays) and ordered some sushi. I wish I could say that’s all it took because I still wasn’t 💯 the next day, so I worked half a day and spent some time with a good friend. We laughed a lot and updated each other on our lives.
Burn out is a thing. We are human, with these pesky emotions. Sometimes I wish I was like a robot so I could reach my goals without the emotions taking control.
How do you deal with burn out??

In Coming - Income 💸💸💸
I was talking to a financial advisor the other day and he brought up something I think is very important about money. He said most people have trouble saving 💰 and that’s because they don’t know how much to save.
The ‘best practice’ from what I’ve seen and read is to try and save around 20% of your income.
Of that 20% some people like to take 15% and put it towards the stock market and the other 5% and put it towards other investments, like real estate.
This strategy helps diversity your assets. Of course nothing is set in stone, so do what you want. Don’t forget to live a little. Xoxo

Are You Interested? 🧐
Compound interest is one of every financial savvy persons not-so-secret secret.
Compound Interest is basically ✨ earning interest from your interest✨ and returns are continually reinvested which makes the total investment grow with each iteration.
Think of it your major investment as a cup of vodka that generates more vodka over time, and the more vodka that’s in your cup means even MORE is generated… (It’s a very magical cup 😉)
The question is what do you do with the extra vodka that this cup generates? Some people drink the excess, but others keep putting it back into their magical cup so it’ll generate even more.
It takes time a patience, but very few people get rich quick. It’s almost better when it takes time because we learn to enjoy the process.

✨Achilles’ heel✨
Everyone has an Achilles’ heel, something that makes them fumble or weak. Recognizing & diagnosing what your weakness is vital. For some people it’s a substance, food, sex, or even a person. Diagnosing the problem is the first step. Then removing the issue entirely is the next step.
Having issues lingering around causes our headspace to be taken up. We need our state of mind to be sharp and clear, solving problems and making decisions based on LOGIC and not emotions.
Wanna know my weakness? Message me to find out 😉
Liquid Assets 💦
A liquid asset is an asset that can easily be converted into cash in a short amount of time.
Examples are:
• Cash 💰
• Exchange traded funds (ETFs)
• Bonds
Money talks and cash is almost always king. Especially when assessing a business. Nobody wants to see a lot of debt with a lack of cash flow.

I met an incredibly powerful woman a few years back and her demeanor has stayed with me all this time. A lot of times when I mëët people with incredible success they are often times cold and detached, or they give off the illusion of ‘caring’ about people. This woman was very different. She was incredibly patient when she could’ve been rude, she listened when people spoke, did not take offense, but the most remarkable aspect was she also came off very strong and confident. Almost angelic like. For a woman who had to push her way through a mans world in the sales industry she was ✨impressive✨

🌟Motivation Monday🌟
I started off the morning not wanting to do anything! I worked so hard this weekend and wanted a little break. I still made it to the gym 🙏🏼 and grabbed a coffee. Life is mundane sometimes but that’s part of the game. One foot in front of the other!
MoneyHoney said it best:
“Lungs are boring, but lungs build muscle
Meditation is boring, but it builds focus
Index Funds are boring, but they build wealth”
You Gotta Risk It for the Biscuit 🥐
After someone determines what their passion is they have to take the chance and go after it. Everyones personal goal is different. Some people want recognition, some people want power, some people want a beautiful family life. A common denominator from what I have seen in every successful person is they all take a risk to achieve their dream. Sometimes they fail and then, if they are able to, they try again. Taking risks aren’t easy. You have to be willing to fail.
Here are some amazing quotes by Elon Musk “Failure is an option here. If things are not failing, you are not innovating enough.”
When he was at a press conference with NASA he said something that really struck me “When we started SpaceX, they said, ‘Oh, you are going to fail.’ And I said, ‘Well, I agree. I think we probably will fail,’”
Isn’t that inspiring to know that one of the worlds most renowned CEO’s even had the fear of failure?! He just accepted the possibility and kept moving forward. 🚀
✨ Thank the Lucky Stars ✨
It’s so important for me to unwind and take time for myself every night. Remembering gratitude is so important. It’s easy to always be on the go and notice what is going ‘wrong’ but it takes real character to pause and remember gratitude. I do this through my nighttime routine.
I love to take a nice long bath to unwind. I drink a warm cup of chamomile tea, read a book, or meditate, and finish the night with some journaling to gather my thoughts from the day.
Sleep is important! I know some people like to say they don’t need a lot of sleep, and maybe that’s true for them, but I require my full 7-8 hours. I try to stay in tune with my body.
I wish I could say I did this every night, but I try to do it at least two to three times a week! 🦄
Bet on Me 💵
Have you heard of Warren Buffet? I would hope so! In 2008, he issued a challenge to the Hedge Fund investors, which he believed charged exorbitant fees that the funds' performances couldn't justify. The man can’t help he likes a good deal 😉 #savingmoney
Buffett's ultimately successful contention was that, including fees, costs and expenses, an S&P500 would outperform a hand-picked portfolio of hedge funds over ten years. He was right!
Lesson of the day: for long term investments a lot of people say it’s best to put money in S&P500 and let it accrue interest over time.
What do you think? 📈📉 Want to bet for a kiss? 💋
💰Defining Success💰
What does success mean to you? To me it’s not always about money. I really enjoy the hustle itself. I love meeting new people and learning new things. That’s part of the adventure in life. I like to win🥇 but not get stuck in a rat race. I don’t want to focus on what other people are doing. It’s important to focus on your own goals - I like to stay in my own lane. Fast cars and luxury living is amazing, but real success is measured by the lives you impact.
Let go for a ride 💋
🌎 Keep Your Feet on The Ground
What keeps you grounded every morning? For me its my routine! Being successful means keeping my head in the game at all times. Every successful person I have met has a strict routine. Have you heard Ryan Serhant’s routine?! It’s intense. Mine isn’t quite as regimented.
I wake up every morning and before checking my phone I do a 5minute reading or meditation. Next is to get ready for the gym, grab my coffee and read some news, hit the gym, come home and shower, then get my day✨STARTED✨ My favorite part of the morning is drinking my coffee and reading the news (usually on my wall street journal app).
Are you a morning person? 🍃
TGIF ☕
One last day of this week - lets end it strong! Grab an extra coffee or take the stairs to get your energy flowing.
What are you doing this weekend? Message me and let me know 😉
✨Catch Me If You Can!✨
Sometimes you have to 'fake it until you make it'. That means ✨CONFIDENCE✨ I am always so attracted to confidence, whether it's in a man or a woman. I think its very sexy. Other people do too! That's because confidence shows power and control. We like knowing what to expect from people. Confidence is not arrogance. It is inner directed, self assurance, and the ability to do what you say. One great tip is to always wear a watch. It shows you find time valuable. That means your time and other peoples time is valuable. Being punctual shows confidence.
Other forms are having good posture and looking people in their eyes. 😉
Have you heard the saying “A diamond is a chunk of coal that did well under pressure”??
💎 💎 💎 💎 💎💎 💎 💎💎 💎 💎 💎 💎💎 💎 💎 💎 💎 💎 💎 💎💎 💎 💎
To withstand adversity and pressure it takes resiliance. We have all endured something that required us to think fast and hard under extreme pressure. Successful people have to learn to manage difficult situations. One technique I like to utilize is that I give myself FIVE entire seconds to mentally 'freak out' of all the possible 'bad' things that could happen, I then take one big deep breathe, let the 'pressure' release on exhalation, and GO! Make the best decision I can. 💯
