It’s so nice to be back home ♡

Yesterday was hectic with flying back 😅

But oh, how good it feels to return, and to rest after Easter time with family. It was beautiful and fun to see them, but it also took a lot of energy. I barely slept, had a hay fever flare-up, and was honestly exhausted from all the traveling.

Over the years, I’ve become a bit of a hermit. Being in my thirties really transformed my inner social butterfly into someone who deeply appreciates peace and solitude.

Do you feel the same? Did your social energy shift with time, or did you stay as outgoing as in your twenties? I’d love to hear.

Anyway, I’m happy to be home. With my cat curled up on my belly - that feels like real home ❤️

Sorry for not being here! I had two very busy days - so much happened in just a few hours! Lots of errands, visiting a sick friend, planning a four-day trip to visit my family (I haven’t seen them since summer) etc.. It was a lot, and I even managed to not fall asleep last night 🫢 So now, I’m soooo tired! Ready to sleep the whole weekend to catch up 😂😂😂

So today, I'm sharing photos from both today and yesterday 😅 I did lots of work in the garden, so I took some photos while planting a new blueberry shrub 🤗 And today, I was building a new gate in the backyard, as wild boars have started coming more often and making a lot of naughty mess 😑 ... hope you will enjoy ♡ and wish a you lovely rest of the day 🥰😍

One lazy nudie 🦄 ...Having some moody days (thanks, womanly cycle), so I took time off work and screens to recharge. Still figuring out what truly nourishes me, but today it is a hot water bottle (i knitted that one 😁), fire in fireplace, my cat on my lap, and a WWII survivor’s autobiography. Already a third in - I forgot how much I love getting lost in a good story.

I love food & I eat a lot - sometimes more than I should. 🤭 In my culture, we have a saying that the older you get, the more you enjoy food. And I feel like that’s really true. 😂

The last two days have been wild! I could hardly stop myself 🫢 So much work and so many unexpected things that needed to be solved. Now, I’m sitting with my cat on my lap—tired but very happy with everything I managed to do. One of the unexpected tasks was shoveling 2 tons of calcium carbonate dust in wind and rain for 6 hours! But despite it all, I feel satisfied with the work :)

Sorry for the late post! This one is from making a fire—I do it every day to keep the house warm and cozy. It feels so nice to enjoy the warmth of the fire :)
